Alba Air Tightness Testing
About Us
ALBA Air Tightness Testing
we’re dedicated to helping builders, architects, and homeowners achieve energy-efficient, high-performing buildings
Our lead tester, Wendy Macnaughton, is a qualified Air Tightness Tester on the Elmhurst Air Tightness Testers Scheme (EAS), formerly known as IATs. As an experienced Level One tester, she is accredited to test buildings up to 4000m³.
Wendy combines technical expertise with a practical, customer-focused approach. She uses calibrated Retrotec blower door equipment to diagnose uncontrolled airflow on site. This then ensures accurate and reliable results every time.
Passionate about reducing energy loss and improving building performance, Wendy particularly enjoys working on low-carbon projects and Passivhaus builds. Whether your project is residential or commercial, she brings both professionalism and an enthusiasm for helping clients meet their energy targets.
We believe that high-quality air testing shouldn’t come with an inflated fee. Our services are competitively priced, giving you access to professional expertise and reliable results without unnecessary costs. By keeping our pricing fair and transparent, we ensure you get the best value while still benefiting from the highest industry standards.
Based just north of Glasgow, Alba Air Tightness Testing proudly serves clients throughout most of Scotland. We are here to answer your questions at any stage of your building plans and look forward to hearing more about your project.

“Delighted with the quick response from Wendy at Alba air tightness testing, explained everything I need to do in preparation as was first time getting air test done. Also I’d say not expensive in today’s terms of getting things done when building a house. Very helpful all-round. Definitely would and will recommend AATT Ltd to anyone looking for this service.”
